The House made the confirmations during her plenary session of Thursday, October 17th, 2019 following the message sent to House by Governor Udom Emmanuel, through the Speaker, seeking the ratification and confirmation of his nominees into Boards and Commissions in the State.
The new appointees are as follows:
LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION:
Hon. Monday Eyo as Chairman,
Hon. (Elder) Aniekan S. Akpan,
Otuekong Emmanuel Udo Ibiok, Mrs. Idara Ephraim Akpan, Engr. John Asikpo and Mr. Samuel Ekpenyong Thomas, as Members.
LAW REFORMS COMMISSION
Barr. Imowo Okpokpo, Member
AKWA IBOM STATE INDEPENDENT ELECTORAL COMMISSION (AKISIEC)
Ufot Sunday Akpan, Member
Ekpuk Eshiet, Member.
The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey has directed the Clerk of the House, Mrs. Mandu Umoren to communicate the position of tje House to the Governor and other relevant quarters.
